ECONOMÍA POLÍTICA: ciencia que trata del desarrollo de las relaciones sociales de producción. Estudia las leyes económicas que rigen la producción, la distribución, el cambio y el consumo de los bienes materiales en la sociedad humana, en los diversos estadios de su desarrollo. La economía política es una ciencia histórica. Revela las condiciones y causas del origen, evolución y cambio de unas formas sociales de producción por otras, más progresivas. La economía política roza los intereses económicos y políticos fundamentales de los hombres, de las diversas clases de la sociedad y, en las formaciones antagónicas de clase, es campo de una aguda lucha clasista. Por esto no existe ni puede existir una economía política única para todas las clases.

 Entonces la economía política ha sido un reflejo de cada tiempo, cada día puede cambiar esta economía, así como  lo hacen las relaciones entre los seres humanos, aun mas al tratarse de la conjunción de dos términos que tratan de estudiar el comportamiento humano, en muchas ocasiones refleja ese comportamiento mejor que cualquier otra acción en la historia. Las relaciones políticas rigen en realidad la economía, aunque bueno eso está por cambiar, se sabe que la economía es ahora el puntero, el limite real de lo que hacen los políticos, esos supuestos representantes del pueblo, no son más que una representación de los ricos, cada vez mas esto se hace realidad y la economía política se torna un poco confusa.
Soy colombiana, y sé que eso está pasando, la corrupción no mas es un reflejo de lo que el dinero puede lograr hacer, sin importar de donde provenga, esa corrupción es un cáncer que acosa a la gente, la acecha día tras día y no deja progresar al nivel que se debería al país. En el gobierno que pasa de Álvaro Uribe, sabemos que creció el piba, claro¡¡. Pero eso se refleja realmente en oportunidad de empleo para las personas desocupadas y desesperadas que abundan en Colombia? no, no lo reflejo, al contrario el reflejo fue aquel que alumbraba las cunas de oro, si en ellos es donde se ve el capital que entra, mucho por cierto, pero menos del que estoy segura va a entrar de ahora en adelante.
Ahora esperamos, si esperar, esperanza, solos eso queda después de las elecciones del 2010 en Colombia, puestas por supuesto en Juan Manuel santos y su gabinete, que por cierto tiene muchos economistas en el, claro la platica se está desviando y que mejor remedio que poner al frente de todo a quienes saben más de "trucos". Esa esperanza es cada vez mayor, y los colombianos esperamos que las condiciones prometidas lleguen a hacerse realidad por lo menos en un 25%, eso seria muchísimo mas de lo que siempre se recibe ¡
